Either way, the core gameplay concept is highly entertaining. You navigate the environment using a left-side virtual analog stick, allowing you to walk or fly using a jetpack until you run out of fuel.

The right-side analog stick is used for aiming and shooting. You also have dedicated buttons to use melee attacks, reload, and throw grenades. While there are around twenty maps available when creating a custom game, the standard Team Deathmatch and Free-for-all modes restrict you to a much smaller selection. A notable problem with the game is that the boundaries for the maps are not obvious at all, and many players can be seen accidentally committing suicide by jumping off the edge.

Progression and upgrades

The game relies on a crate system to unlock and upgrade weapons, completely replacing the outdated Pro pack. Playing without upgraded weapons makes matches incredibly difficult, as veteran players with leveled-up arsenals will outperform you easily. You need to grind for crates or use in-app purchases to upgrade your gear and stay competitive.
